Radio frequently repeats songs AND can't close app on Android

When listening to the radio feature, I use the thumbs up to customize the station. For the last 2 weeks, any time I like a song, it ends up going on repeat. In addition, Spotify doesn't seem to be remembering the songs I've already liked (ie, a song I like two days ago will come up as if it's never been 'liked.')

Additionally, even after sifting through all the message boards and user guides, I still can't figure out how to close the app when I'm done. Any help with either issue would be much much MUCH appreciated!

Hi. The radio function needs a lot of love and not just on android. If you search the ideas section, you'll probably find plenty of ideas you'll want to support.

The only way to kill the spotify app is to do so from the app manager. This fits in with the android philosophy of letting the OS manage resources without any interference from us users. You'll find that no adndroid app is actually closed even if it has a close button. It just gets sent to the background.
