Recently Played Artists now opens the artist page instead of my library of their music that I saved.

My Question or Issue

Recently my spotify app updated and I notice when I use the recently played artist feature ( which I use constantly), it now opens the artist page instead of the music I have saved for that artist. This is really annoying. If I wanna play music that I have saved for that artist, I have to go find them among the hundreds of other artists in my library instead of just going to the recently played artists. They already took away the recently played artists from the library view, now the home screen one is useless too.

Spotify constantly strives to improve the user experience with its features and the easiest way to achieve this is by regular app updates. The behavior you've noticed is expected after the latest app update.
