What exactly does "notifaction not stopping playback" or "Audio notifications on your phone won't stop the music." mean?

I'm often using Spotify together with Runtastic. I want to keep Runtastic's audio feedback every km, for which Spotify's playback volume is reduced. Would this stop working with the new Spotify version?

are lot of bugs in android app! if stop the app music will stop many times om my way to work.

also my screen not go on.. that moment spotify app freeses even its NOT IN USE!

i have a lot of screenshots that shows that the app is frozen...

I'm having the same problems as Dutch_User. If I start Spotify on my Z1 Compact the online features of the app will not work for 5-10 minutes (with a good chance of freezing my phone if it goes into standby).

Streaming itself works just fine, but using "Search", "Browse", "Discovery" etc. is pointless. After a few minutes everything works as intended. Very annoying!
