Spotify brings its own equalizer function. Except where the device manufacturers have disabled the function (example : LG disable to possibility to use the Spotify equalizer in the LG G3).
If the equalizer in the Spotify app is not 'stable' (what does that mean?), then it is probably a Spotify issue.
If other music apps, including whatever native music app Samsung included with their phone (for listening to mp3 tracks etc) works ok, then this confirms that the issue is the Spotify app.
