Scrobbling in offline modus

Why doesn't Spotify does not scrobble to last.fm in offline mode, or caches it for release later?

I think it should cache too ... I'm fairly sure an idea exists for this in the Ideas forum, have a search and add Kudos or if not raise it

Thanks Peter, at least now I know it is not an android bug. Bit weird this is designed the way it is.. as if there is any relationship between me being online and me wanting my last fm scrobbles

I know, tell me about it! Thankfully I am online most of the time around university but I can see why this is a big issue!
