Several downloaded playlists are now missing one to two songs each. Why?

I have been listening to these downloaded playlists for some time now, but most one or two songs from several playlists are no longer available offline and I have to download them again and again. How do I get back to keeping them downloaded? My Wi-Fi is limited gb a month and I feel as though it is wasting my gigs
