Sharing to Instagram Story Not Working

I can't find in sharing options "Instagram stories". This situation continues after many updates and even if I change my phone.

Nope, It doesn't work.

Spotify version:

Instagram version:

It sounds like you're on what's called an A/B test. The reason why you're currently missing some features is explained here. Spotify is always testing things in order to improve the overall Spotify experience.

I think it's not this problem, because I've never seen the "share to instagram story" option. And I have the premium version, I'm starting to think that it's not worth paying to have less features than others...

I've solved this problem by clearing Instagram cache. I too have a Pixel device.

You can do so by following these steps:

Settings -> Apps & notification -> Instagram -> Storage -> Clear cache.

While you are at it, you might want to clear Spotify cache too.

If it doesn't help, try to fully reinstall both Instagram and Spotify.

Probably it's a problem with my account (Instagram, Spotify or both), but nobody want to controll it...

Honestly just think they have a bug and either don't know how to fix it or can't be bothered. I have a Pixel 1 and I've never been able share to my insta stories. I could on my on my previous phone which was an HTC. But yeah. Never on my Pixel And I've had this phone for almost a year now. I've tried all the BS, uninstalling and reinstalling. Clearing cache. All their advice. 

It's getting very frustrating to see them keep saying "you're probably just part of our testing" oh yeah. Well while am I still part of it and why does your testing take away my features. I too am not pleased about giving them money each month and not even getting all the features 😒

Same thing here. Previously I had an S7 that never had the option to share my musics on insta stories. Now I have a Note9 that still not showing the option to share my musics on stories, both of apps are full updated and I'm even a beta tester of instagram. The funny part is that in a old iPhone5s the share option appear normally. 

I've already asked for some friends to log in my account on their devices to test if this feature would work, and for my surprised it worked normally on a S8 that doenst even had the latest version of spotify and instagram installed.

Hope you guys can help me, because has been almost an year without anyone knowing how to solve this issue.

 Already cleaned my cache, unnistalled both apps, more than once, and all this kind of things and none of them worked at all.

Same here with a Nokia 6.1 Plus. I'm running on Android Pie, both Instagram and Spotify apps are up-to-date and cache-cleared and the 'Share to Instagram Story' option is still not showing up.

Spotify, why not do something to improve this on the next update?

And also if they tell you that you are in an A/B test, how long does this take? I read this feature already existed in early 2018 and i have never seen it. And why don't they just change it for the people asking desperatly for this feature.

mine isn't working on the new iphone...your fix is for an older version of iphone.

deleted both apps and reinstalled a few times. checked settings and all that nothing seems to work.

Nothing worked for me either.. until I updated my Android version. Maybe try updating your IOS if there is a new one available?
