Shuffled Playlist Excluding an Artist

Premium Spotify user in the US, using a Galaxy S8.

I have a playlist with plenty of songs from a few of my favorite bands. The issue I am experiencing is that while on shuffle the playlist completely fails to play one particular band's songs -- entirely. 

I've obviously reshuffled, restarted the app, etc, and gone as far removing and re-adding all of the artist's songs (to the playlist), but the issue is ongoing and I'm out of ideas as to how to fix the shuffle function's failure. 

I've made many personal playlists over years of a premium subscription and never (knowingly) encountered this before. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue + is anyone aware of a solution?
