Song stops playing/looks like it's playing/no audio

I'm not sure if this has been posted before. I thought that I'd found a workaround for this problem by using an older apk but that also stopped working. I recently got a pair of Bluetooth headphones and the problem hasn't occurred while using them. Now it only happens when plugged into an auxiliary jack. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have that problem too. I am using Spotify on Xperia SP with Android 4.3. the problem appeared after the penultimate update. Help us!

It is not phone fault. I checked the deafult player and its ok. Only Spotify has that problem with every jack...

Oh yeah I'm sure it's the app. It just occurred to me that it was only happening for me with the auxiliary and not with Bluetooth. I didn't know if this was the case with anyone else or if Spotify knew about this. Might help them fix it sooner ☺️
