Songs get randomly removed from My Songs, still available in Spotify, can be re-added

Hello,

I've been having this issue for a while now: songs just randomly dissappear from my saved songs. However they're still in the system, I can re-save them the same way I did before (even selecting them from the same album I've originally did) and all is well until I notice another one missing.

Also their order gets mixed up, but that does not bother me as much as the songs dissappearing.

I tried basic troubleshooting stuffs, removed sd card, re-installed the app a couple of times (after a few months of not using it), chosed to save them locally for offline usage and always dowload from the web. Nothing seems to work. 😕

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have a Premium and use HTC m8 with Android 6.0: Marshmallow.

Hey @lol176! Welcome to the Community!

Just to verify, have you tried using these steps to reinstall the app?

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
  2. Find Spotify in your list of apps.
  3. If you're able to, tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  4. Tap Uninstall to remove the app.
  5. Turn your device off and then back on.
  6. Open Google Play then search for and install the Spotify Music app.

Clearing the cache with these steps helps to fix most of the issues found in the app.

Let me know if you're still having trouble! ♫

Is there a chance someone else is using or having access to your account and manually changing and deleting such sungs from your library.

just a thought...

I cleared the cache before installing the app again and so far, so good, so I guess that fixed it. Thank you.
