Songs got grey and are no more playable

My Question or Issue

Some songs gone grey and cant be played. Other songs in same record list are shown and played normally. Example: "Fire on the Floor, Beth Hart"

Hi @tonjink 

While Spotify would like to have all the music, sometimes songs or albums become unavailable due to artist choice or change in license agreements. Spotify are actively working on solving such issues you the songs may become available again eventually.

Hope that makes it more clear.

Thanks, but I think this is not the case, as other songs in same album are shown and playable normally.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the belated reply!

In order to figure out if this is about songs that are unavailable in your country, you can simply go to: 

Desktop:

1. Click  then Settings. 
2. Under Display Options, switch Show unavailable songs in playlists off. 

After that you shouldn't be seeing songs that are grayed out due to unavailability in your country. 

If, however, you believe this all isn't about that, you can simply run a clean reinstall and see if anything changes.
