Songs on my phone are greyed out but work on my computer why?

 Songs are greyed out on my phone connected to the wifi in the house my computer has the songs and can play play them why?

I have the same problem (I think)

A lot of my playlisy songs apear everywhere and are usable (desktop and laptop), but not on my Samsung/Dorid phone.  It is a collaborative list, and the others can see/play all the songs fine.  I can also use my phone to play those songs (and skip etc) if they are being played on my desktop.  I have reinstalled (and dropped data on my phone).  This is maddening.
