Songs only play for 10 seconds

My Question or Issue:

At least once a day, my spotify decides to play less than 10 seconds of every song (haven't tried offline because I don't use offline mode). 

I have already tried resetting my device and updating phone software.

The version of spotify I am using is:8.5.8.567

I have enough data and good speed and spotify states I'm online.

I have turned off power saving and background data usage stuff.

I've closed and restarted spotify and logged in and out.

Im not using Bluetooth speakers or anything. 

It doesn't happen every time I use spotify and i haven't changed any other settings so not sure why its started doing this.

Could you try updating to the latest version of the Spotify app for Android and seeing if that resolves the issue?
