Sound disappeared

I recently downloaded Spotify for my Android device (HTC One X). I have a premium subscription and it all worked perfectly fine at first. But then suddenly when I tried to open the app again there was no sound. There is sound from all the other applications but not Spotify 😞

I closed the app and opened it again. Logged in and logged out. Even uninstalled it and installed it again but there is still no sound :(((

The sound has disappeard from my HTC Desire. I have removed the app, turned off the phone, reinstalled from Play Store. Downloaded music from playlist, and it still doesn't work.

 

However, at some stage I wanted to log on to Spotify from a new device (iphone). Instead of logging in to my account, it seemed to start a new account with my login details. Maybe this is what messed it up?

Spotify sound has disappeard from my HTC. It used to be sound, and now it has disappeard.

 

What are the steps you took to get to the error/issue?

1. I chose downloaded spotify application on my smart phone

2. I chose a downloaded playlist

3. I selected a song from the playlist

4. Song seams to be playing, but there is no sound in the headset. However, there is sound on other apps.

 

What I expected to happen

When a song is playing I expect to hear music.

This worked for me: 1. Clearing data from applications and then reinstalling. This is on Jellybean btw.

My Sony Ericsson has just lost all sound when play spotify, it is driving me crazy, i am ready to cancel my subsription.. 

 

All my other app and phone is working fine playing sound... i have rebooted my phone and reinstallled spotify numerous times still no sound.. 

 

Please help, what should i be doing to correct this..

I've had the same problem many times on both HTC-phone and Samsung GalaxyNote.
Since I'm slow i didn't remember the solution between the times 🙂

 

Volyme on speakers and headphones are different!

Just pull up the volume with headphones in!
