What is the sound quality Spotify is using on FireTV?
320kbps/16bit/44Khz?
Highest quality?
It seems that the sound output is not of the highest quality setting.
The FireTV uses Spotify Connect which uses the highest quality setting of 320kbps.
It doesn´t seem so.
The sound is much worse than that of a windows notebook connected to the same DAC over USB.
It sounds like overprocessed 128kbps...
How do you know they are using 320kbps?
I don't have an FireTV to test it out, but I know that Spotify Connect streams directly from Spotify's server and uses the highest quality.
Sorry I can't be much help here.
