Spotify Mini Player not working on Android Lollipop (Sony Xperia Z5)

Hi,

I love the mini player concept! Whatever I'm doing in other apps, I can still play/pause/change songs just by swiping down on my notification center or even from the lock screen!

However, I just upgraded my phone to Sony Xperia Z5 yesterday and none of those features are working... I used to be on a Xperia Z3 and noticed the lock screen feature appearing randomly, not everytime Spotify was playing.

Any idea if it's an app bug or my issue?

If you're running android 6, you may need to set the notifications for spotify to your liking. Settings/notifications/advanced/spotify.

I tried that... But the only notification settings I have on the system are

• Block all: never show notifications from this app
• Treat as priority: Let this app's notifications be heard when Do not Distub is set to Priority only
• Allow peeking: Let this app emphasize certain notifications by sliding them into view on the current screen 

I have both Treat as Priority and Allow Peeking on, but still no notifications or mini player for me 😞
