Spotify Radio on Galaxy s4 stops playing after phone screen turns off

Everytime the screen turns off, the radio will discontinue after a minute or two. It makes absolutely no sense if you want to tune into a radio station while you're doing other things. The only way to keep it playing is to have your phone perpetually on. Is there a solution to this? NAyone else having this problem?

Check your advanced wifi settings. You need to make sure that "Keep wifi on during sleep" is set to always. While there, you could also turn off Wifi optimisation which has been known to cause dropouts when streaming.
