Spotify Radio - "Spotify will be right back after this message" still not back after an hour.

When playing radio, I get an advert. The advert plays and is then followed by a screen that says "Spotify will be right back after this message", with a Learn More button.

This message is still on the screen an hour later and effectively locks me out of my phone. It doesn't go away and there is no music playing. This is especially annoying in the car as I really haven't got time to mess with this.From this point onwards the Spotify app is essentially dead and useless.

If I tap Learn More I get to come Youtube video or something. No use in the car. If I exit the video I'm back to this screen that will not go away in Spotify. To make it go away I have to exit the app.

I regard this as something of a deal breaker as far as using Spotify is concerned.
