My Question or Issue

Every time I go from WiFi to 4g, Spotify refuses to connect to the internet. I have to force close it and reopen it. I have perfect internet connection in other apps, it's just Spotify. And it's not sporadic, it is literally every time I leave my home or office. I've searched quite a bit on this, and I can't be the only one experiencing it.

Hey @rtuite81 - help's here!

First off, do you mind trying a quick clean reinstall of the app? This can fix a lot of common issues users experience with the app.

If that doesn't do the trick, could you get back to us with a few more details about the issue you're experiencing? Specifically, we'd like to know the following:

  1. Does the issue occur when you actively turn off the WiFi setting on your phone, or when you are out of WiFi range?
  2. What indication is there that Spotify isn't successfully switching over to your mobile network? Do you get a connection error message in the app, or is there something else which indicates that you're not connected to the Internet?

Based on the above info, we'll know what to suggest next.
