Spotify closes when playing games

Whenever I Play any type of game it normally pauses the music player I am currently using (e.g. Stock music player)
However, whenever I try to play a game spotify force closes and will not play unless I manually re-open the app. So, is there any way to refuse an app permission to kill spotify?.Using Spotify 5.9(latest), on android 4.3.

Most music apps do this so that they won't be playing over the in game music, usually though, you would just have to pause before going into the game then press play when in it (after turning the game's volume off) and it'll play fine. Hope this helps!
