Spotify freezes when playing video podcasts

My Question or Issue

Hey,

my spotify freezes when playing any video podcasts. If i start one of them the app will just freeze until reinstalled. Has anyone run into this issue / found a workaround?

As a first step, we recommend running a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps. This can be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, could you try downloading a video podcast episode, turning on the Offline Mode, and letting us know if the same happens?

Also, make sure that there aren't any battery optimization or data saving settings enabled on your phone.
