Spotify is trying to play music through my Samsung watch

My Question or Issue

 I downloaded the spotify app on my watch And opened it to try to control my music from my phone With my watch, But when I pressed play no music came out of my phone, I was confused so I checked my phoneAnd it said listening and being on Gear sport, And no matter how high I turned up the volume on my watch and my  Phone, No music came out.

 It did say that the song was going

Thx for the help l, it turned out to be in settings, i had to turn it from stand alone to remote.
