Spotify mobile mutes after two or three songs

Hi!

I'm using Spotify premium in offline mode on android 4.0.4. After playing two or three songs spotify keeps on playing the current song but mutes. When I pause the song and continue it, the sound comes back.

I tried also playing songs in online mode. But the same mistake occurs.

Does someone have got a solution or any experience in this problem?

Yeah, I basically only listen to offline playlists and I always have had this problem with both online and offline content : /

Just use older version, lower than 1.0, 0.9XX... works, its 2015 december.

And then disable updates for spotify.

I have used older version for some time now and it never mutes, it only stops playing when playlist ends.

I uninstalled Spotify and reinstalled it and it works again with no muting! I think that's because (I might be wrong) the crossfade and the gapless playback aren't on at the same time ^^

I still have the mute problem. The workaround with the crossfade works just for the offline playlists. When i here online playlists spotify mutes after 3 songs. Is there anyone who can solve this problem? I don´t need spotify anymore if this doesn´t work.

Turning on Crossfade did not work for me.
