Spotify on an Asus x205ta

Everytime my laptop goes into lock screen my music pauses , is there any way to stop this from happening ? sorry if it this has already been covered it just i couldnt find it

If your laptop turns off it's screen when it goes to it's lock screen, it means your laptop sleeps, thus, pausing all apps including Spotify. This will happen in Windows to preserve energy and it doesn't work like android that keeps it's apps open in the background. So, to fix it, prevent Windows from sleeping. or going to the lock screen after a few minutes. Or, if your laptop has a power button that makes it go to sleep, don't press it while playing music.
