Spotify premium app not playing any songs

Hi, 

I recently made a spotify premium subscription and sadly the APP is not playing any Songs in my phone.

Device: OnePlus One A001

ROM: Resurrection Remix 5.8.4 Android 7.1.2

Spotify Version: 8.4.18.743 armV7

I have found nothing in the community or google which relates this problem to my device, custom ROM, root or something like that so I assume that is not the reason.

Is it possible to get a refund from Spotify if I'm not able to use it on my device?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm fairly sure that Spotify doesn't support custom ROMs but you can contact them direct here.

Thank you for your reply and link, i will try to contact them directly.

If it doesn't support custom Roms they should write that in the FAQs.. In
all the forums people use spotify with custom Roms and don't have such
problems.. So I'm fairly sure that thats not the reason.
