Spotify randomly starts playing on it's own on a device called "Helium"

It's always music I've never heard of, never initiated by me, and sometimes it pauses the music I'm ACTUALLY listening to when I'm listening on my laptop (Because it's in use somewhere else...)

I've tried logging out of all my other devices, changing my password, reinstalling the app, and nothing seems to work. What should I do? What is Helium? Where is this strange music coming from?

Looks like a connect device on the same wifi network as you and using the same login. Are you a student in halls by any chance? You may want to change your password and I recommend you contact Spotify Support using the form here asking for all devices to be removed from your account.

You will get an automated reply at first, however if you need to chase them just reply to the email as it does get monitored.

Thanks for your reply Daniel.

I'm not on wifi, I'm not a student in halls, or even a student, I've already changed my password/removed all devices from my account.

Definately contact support. Seems to me your account may have been hijacked
