Spotify stops playing after 10 minutes on Honor 9 Lite

Spotify reliably stops playing after exactly 10 minutes in the background without any notification. I have already changed my battery settings, the app should therefore be untouched by any energy saving mechanisms.

Sorry to hear this!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Just to confirm, did you try running a clean reinstall with the steps mentioned in the link sent above?

 

If that didn't do the trick, make sure that there aren't any battery optimization or cache clearing apps or settings enabled on your phone.

 

It's also worth logging out, restarting your phone, and logging back in.

 

If the issue persists, could you let us know the make, model and OS version of the affected device, along with the Spotify version you're running.
