Solved!

Spotify turns into a zombie state when connected to my car for to long.

I followed following instructions:

http://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Android/Android-Troubleshooting-Spotify/td-p/113082

(here is the template:)

=== START OF TEMPLATE ===

Description
Please describe the problem

When I listen to spotify on my cellphone, while my cellphone is connected via BlueTooth with my car's media system, spotify turns into a kind of 'zombie' state after a while.

Meaning: normally I can operate spotify with the car's media system's 'back' and 'forward' buttons but if spotify is in the 'zombie' state:
- The display of the currently running song are not displayed
--> The display is stuck on the song where spotify entered the 'zombie' state
-----> If I press the forward or back button the display screen goes blank and this has no effect on the song being played
(it continues playing; regardless the back or forward button press)
- Spotify keeps playing the current playlist, regardless of other audio sources being loaded (changing the media system to radio or other external audio source)
--> It does this in the background, so doesn't produce sound,
but if you select another sound source and go back to Bluetooth (spotify) Spotify doesn't resume where you left off but kept playing as if you didn't disconnect.
- Spotify is no longer active as background of my phone's lock screen
--> Normally I can go back and forward at the lock screen of my phone, if Spotify is in the 'zombie' state the default background (without forward and back buttons) is shown

workarounds:
1) If I call someone (handsfree) with the car controls and I switch back to Spotify it wakes up from it's 'zombie' state (it is controllable again)
2) Unlocking the phone (entering pin) and opening spotify also wakes it up from it's zombie state.

What are the steps you took to get to the error/issue?
(We need to know what you are doing so we can do the exact same to try and get the same error)
1. I set up Spotify to directly play when I enter my car and set on my media system.
-> I used The "Bluetoot connect & Play" app for this
2. When I enter my car and the audio system is turned on it connects to my phone; Spotify is started and it starts to play the current list where it left off.
3. At the start and for a good amount of time it is possible to go back and forward in the playlist.
4. Suddenly a song is played and the synchronization with the display is lost. (the song shown in the car is not the song currently played by spotify).
5. It is not possible to go back or forward in the playlist anymore (until you carry out one of the workarounds above)

What I expected to happen

That the forward and back buttons remain operational unregardles of time.

Also note that Clean Master contains a process killing feature which can also close Spotify. If you are using this, also enable a whitelist or disable this feature.

(after reinstalling somemany times, tests in the car, buying a new sd card :))

-> this was the issue apparently -> I disabled the feature and since then it works flawlessly,

many thanks and +1,
