Spotify won't play on my docking station?

I just got an Philips as111 docking station for android. I have spotify premium but my docking station won't play music from spotify. It works with the standard music player on my Samsung gs2 but not with spotify? Can someone help me?

Spotify has had issue, for, well, since I can remember, with docking stations. At the office I use a Dell Thunderbolt Dock (https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/accessories/apd/452-bcnp) on Windows 10 (pro); and it works on and off. Sometimes, after starting spotify, and waiting for 5-10 mins, it will also suddenly start working. Before that it will show a message I'm offline. Which I 'm obviously not, because everything else works fine.

Since this has been around for such a long time, I do not think this is something Spotify is able/willing to fix.
