My Question or Issue

Hey Folks,

I have a relatively new  Android phone and I want to transfer storage to the SD card.

Home>Settings works fine but the "Other" button in settings doesn't respond when pressed.

I've reinstalled but the same happens.

Any ideas or workarounds?

Thanks,

Gee.

I can't save offline music to my SD neither

I bet Spotify updated the app and removed this feature, once again they don't inform anything in their change log.

So frustrated with this service

Hey there @7Surf7 and @SlatanicS

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this.

The SD card storage option hasn't been removed with the latest update. This option is still available and you can make use of it.

Just to confirm, have you tried a clean reinstall instead of the regular one? We recommend this step as it'll remove the old drivers first and then install the new ones. It'll also get you the latest version of Spotify. These changes tend to solve issues like the one you're experiencing. Give your device a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app.

It's also a good idea to test if you observe the same under a different network. If it works with another connection, it's best to contact the service provider of the original network for more information.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

The application was not reading the SD card

Uninstalled  the application

Turn off device

Remove SD Card

Re insert

Reinstall application

Issue solved

Really strange, I will keep an eye on this
