Suddenly stops playing

Spotify: latest update.

My Question or Issue:

Whenever I close my phone or use another app Spotify stops playing after a few songs. I keep getting an error saying I have to allow spotify to play in the backround, I've had spotify for years I check that immediately. (Playtime example: 14:24 - 14:47)

There is no sleep timer on, spotify is allowed in the background, and I've got nice and stable Internet.

I've re installed several times, still the same issue.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

 

Just to confirm, do you still experience this after a thorough reinstall of the Spotify app and restarting your phone? Asking since what I'm suggesting is more effective than a "simple" reinstall.

 

As a heads-up, it'd also be great to double-check you're not using any task-killer or batter-saver app/settings by the time you try using Spotify again.
