Track info not updated to playback device on bluetooth

After upgrade to latest release 3.0.0.1124 on my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact the Track info is not updated when using it to play on bluetooth devices, in this instace my car. Worked before the Spotify upgrade and still works using other sound applications on the phone.

have you ticked the "Device Broadcast Status"-box under settings?

Yes, the box is ticked.

I have the same problem, and also with aux conection

I had a proplem a while back with a Samsung android (Note 3), it simply wouldn't work. Lastly, I had to download an app to make it work.
Unfortunately I don't remember anymore the name of the app.

It could be a problem with phone manufacturer, android version, bluetooth version etc. 
Make sure you have the latest android version in your phone.

rubeneb: Metadata will not be sent over Aux, as the only signal that's being sent through the 3,5mm jack connection is an audio-signal.

Yeah I know metadata will not be sent over Aux, the thing is that the problem for me is the same if I play music over bluetooth, aux or even in my phone speaker. I have a Moto MaXX with Android 5.0.1

Here is my sceenshot of my phone. Just for the record the problem start since the last update, I've Spotify 3.0.0.1124
