Unable to sign in after being signed out while being offline

My Question or Issue

 So, I was on holiday where I was using a shared network. Therefore I had to put Spotify on offline to avoid having it downloading songs. Not a problem for me, yet. However, when I got back today I had to restart my phone. This made me sign out of Spotify, and now I can't sign in again because apparently if you are sign out while being offline you're permanently locked out.

My question then is, is there a solution here that DOESN'T involve reinstalling the application and redownloading over 3000 songs? Looking through the forum I've seen multiple instances of this problem that goes way back, and if there still aren't any solution I'm really starting to question how the developers here are prioritizing stuff....

In the meantime, the only way to get back to your account is with a reinstallation.
