Unable to sync my Android (Samsung Galaxy S2) with my Spotify desktop

Hi there,

I've just purchased Spotify Premium and been struggling in hours now to sync my Spotify with my Android smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S2) within the same WiFi at home. I've followed the instructions step by step as described on the link below:

My phone device does not appear at all under "Devices" on my Spotify desktop. Anyone here to help me understand what the problem might be?

If you are trying to sync playlists containing just Spotify tracks (as opposed to mp3s from your PC) then there's no reason to do it via the Devices option in the desktop client - just flag the playlists as offline directly on your handset

Otherwise try restarting your phone and see if that helps
