What is Spotify downloading?!

spotify is downloading 2000+ songs and I haven’t asked it to download a playlist or too many new albums. How do I tell what it’s downloading? I’d turn it off rather than have it fill my phone’s storage. I’ve gone through all albums to make sure download is not clicked and then have gone through playlists to make sure the slider there doesn’t instruct to Download.

the interface is also frustrating to try and delete an album. Why not left swipe instead of 1) click the album 2) scroll to the bottom of the song list 3) click remove 4) click back to arrive back at your album list.
