When playing any song, it constantly skips. Each time, it affects the speed

This happens at least 20 to 30 times. Very annoying.

Hey @Ernest111, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

 

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps. These steps are more thorough than the simple reinstall and can solve common issues.

If you're still having trouble, can you let me know the make and model of the device you're experiencing this on?

I'm hesitant to try the reinstall because I heard it would erase my
playlists and other downloads. I have years of playlist that I don't want
to lose and don't want to have to redo all that work. Am i the only one
that has this problem?

I understand your concern. I assure you that your content (music and podcasts, playlists, etc) are not deleted when you do a clean reinstall. Reinstalling your app is only done because it refreshes the app and can solve common issues, and also gives your app new life. Your content will remain on your account no matter if you reset the device or were to use a different phone, for example. 

If you are still hesitant, you can always try logging out > restart device > log back in without reinstalling. However, if that doesn’t work then it will be good to reinstall the app and seeing if that makes a difference.
