When someone uses Alexa in my house my phone runs Spotify

I have an Alexa linked to Spotify and the Spotify application on my phone

If someone at home uses Spotify through Alexa my phone immediately loads the Spotify application even if I am miles away from home. For the last 2-3 months I have reached my data limit on my phone contract when previously I hadn't

Can I turn this feature off please?

Hey @SecAtPonty.

Since your Spotify account is linked to Alexa, there are two options you can try. You can completely log out of your phone's Spotify app so it won't launch it automatically, or you can unlink the Spotify account from Alexa when you're not using it anymore.

The logging out works a treat on the phone so this will suit me as I fear it is costing me
