Why unable to play artist in order?

You  used to be able to search for say a particular artist... coldplay for example 

All the tracks would come up drom my general list and after playing first track other coldplay tracks would follow automatically 

No longer happens in that after the first coldplay track Spotify then plays completely random tracks from the original playlist.... 

This means I have to either go back and manually play the next coldplay track or set up a separate cold play playlist very very annoying
