So, I downloaded the spotify app a few times, but my phone is so stupid I usually have to delete it and redownload it (and a few other apps) becuase my phones internal memory runs out too fast. Last time I downloaded it, I got this weird feedback in my headphones. I'm not sure what it was (or whether or not you're already/hjave already looked into the issue), but it is very annoting as it is very loud, and interupts playback.
Note: I use my alternate account on the app, which is connected to my facebook

It's the app, otherwise I'd be writing a complaint to the company that sold the headphones.
Playback stops and I get a weird tone. Usually when I use my 3G
Since you used to have Spotify without this feedback until your most recent install, have you tried doing a clean install as mentioned in the troubleshooting page?
I'll have to try later as my phone hates me atm
