Wireless headphones no sound through spotify

Hi,

Spotify is playing through the speakers of my android phone instead of my wireless headphones even though they are definitely connected. why isn't Spotify playing through my headphones?

I have just reinstalled the app to no avail.

This is most likely an issue with your device, have you tried other apps such as YouTube to see if it's only affecting spotify?

Can you connect your wireless headphones to your PC to test them out? I would disconnect your headphones on your phone, then hit Forget This Device and then reconnect them. If you connect them by using Bluetooth and turn off and on your Bluetooth. Also try to restart your phone after connecting your headphones. Als make sure Spotify isn't running while connecting your headphones.
