Won't save to SD card Samsung s3

Won't save to SD card Samsung s3

Hi, I can't get my saved music to save on the SD card. No matter what I do it saves to the phone storage. I have a 32gb sd card with only 5 gb used and my internal is only 16gb

I have tried all the steps like reinstalling, clear cache, deleting files etc and to no avail.

Please help as I am very frustrated at the moment.

Are you sure it's not saving to the SD Card? Sometimes if you're looking at the app detail in the Android settings it incorrectly shows where the data is sitting.

 

Can you use a file manager to see if the folder on your SD card isn't empty? If it's not, then the cache is correctly set to the SD.

 

Folder location will be: /Android/data/com.spotify.mobile.

I have folders on my SD and on my phone but when I download music to my phone it saves to internal. I can see this as I check the space before and after.

I only realised after my phone informed me space was running out.

Any ideas?

I think you may need to do a complete clean install....

This is the most ridiculous technical support I have ever come across always referring people onto this guide WHICH is not resolving our queries in the original post the user clearly states he has reinstalled etc

I have tried 3 times to reinstall but to no avail. Is there anything else or is this an issue that cannot be fixed?
