You should be able to toggle the available offline button so it stops and unsyncs the songs.
A drastic measure would be to reinstall Spotify.

Just to clarify........going to offline mode is only a temporary solution as the download will resume the next time you turn offline mode off so reinstalling the app is the only permanent answer.

What I meant by that was toggling the available offline slider on the playlist, but yes offline mode is definately a temporary solution 😉
