+ liked song issue and saved album

There seems a bug or something that seems very annoying if expected behaviour. I did like the heart icon when in free version for liking songs and albums. Now I've upgraded to premium these are missing. But my issue...  If select a song in an album and select the + icon to add it as a liked song It appears in my liked songs playlist. if I am on the same album level as the song I've liked to save the album to my library then the earlier liked song disappears from my liked songs playlist. Is there any reason this is occurring? Thanks
