massive battery drain after use with BMW-connected-app

After using spotify in the car via bluetooth,

the phone battery is drained 50% in a few hours by the Spotify app (can be seen in battery information in the phone's setting), although the app was closed.

When re-opening Spotify the BMW-warning message (dont use while driving) is displayed.

I am afraid that the not-clicked warning message somehow keeps the app busy in background.
