playing spotify through Audi car speakers via bluetooth

Hi - my phone HTC one connects to my car speakers no problem through Blueotooth. (my phone is paired wit the stero ok).  Now I am trying to use Bluetooth to play Spotify also but i keep coming with an error.  I am in Spotify and click the share icon, click bluetooth; it connects ok but then i get an error message saying somethijg like blue tooth files failed to be sent. I have changed the menu on my car radio to be on media, but it says no files are there.   As i am writing this i am sure i am doing something very obvioulsy wrong...... can anyone help please?

Check the car or car stereo manual.  For my Toyota, I have to pair my phone to the car and seperately pair my phone's audio to the car, 2 different bluetooth connections.
