"Spotify connections" Galaxy Watch Active 2

My Question or Issue

I just got a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and if I use the Spotify Widget on my watch, there is a constant "Spotify connections: Galaxy Watch Active2 is connected" notification on my phone. I don't want to snooze or disable the notification because clearly something is running in the background, but it's annoying to force close Spotify after everytime I'm done listening to music to get rid of the notification. I haven't listed to music in like 8 hours now, and I have charged my watch, cleared my apps, and done many other things between now and then, but the notification is still there. Help?
