I understand your concern. That is a great troubleshooting step, as it makes the app have a new fresh life and is a common solution for issues within the app.
Does this happen still when you reinstalled the app? Also, please send a screenshot of any error messages being shown. Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the community.
