unknown error -24 coming up, can't download either app!!

Can someone please help as the old spotify app told me to download the new app so I tried and it kept saying the above error message. So I deleted the old one as I couldn't use that either and it throws me the same error message now. Please help as I need my music

What device and android version are you using? You're downloading direct from Play on your device?

I'm using a Samsung galaxy s5 with whatever software it comes it in the UK and I've tried downloading from the play store, spotify website, everything

From reading around, I would be tempted to try a Factory reset and see if that makes any difference?
