AI "DJ" needs a lot of work IMO

AI "DJ" needs a lot of work IMO

While this is a great idea, in practice it doesn't work very well at all.

The blocks have no rhyme or reason for their order and just feel incredibly random. Djent Metal straight into 60's folk rock (for example) is incredibly jarring and no DJ worth their salt would do anything like that.

Given the incredible amount of listening data they have on me you would think Spotify would know I don't base what I listen to off of how many others listen to it so why is it constantly shoving the "top blah blah blah" down my throat?  Or why does it play me artists that I skip every single time it's played but you keep pushing it at me?

The worst part though? The "editors picks" which feel an awful lot like promotion and not based on my listening at all. I skip that block every single time.  Get rid of that **bleep**.  I don't pay for Premium to be advertised to. Play me stuff based on what I like already don't push things on me because you have some deal with a label or something.

I really dislike the editor picks as well to be honest I don’t care what other people think about my music genres. My Dj is convinced all i listen to is metal for some reason, although it is one of my top genres it’s not all i listen to and when it does give me metal music it plays like one song i know and then something by someone i’ve never heard of before?? Like why not focus on what i listen to overall more? I think with more topics for the AI and overall improvement this would be a great feature but it needs a ton of work. I like the “if your music taste was city” prompt  that’s a fun one or the if your music taste was a vibe one. Maybe add more of those
