Manage what songs/playlists is used for "playlists made for you"

Manage what songs/playlists is used for "playlists made for you"

I really enjoy the "playlists made for you" feature. However my issue is that when I go to bed I often listen "white noise" and often when I work I listen to electro (or classical) playlists because that really helps me to focus. Now I have noticed that Spotify actually uses these tracks when making my mixtapes, suggestions, and "top played songs" . This is really annoying because this is not kind of tracks I want to listen to if I am not actually sleeping or working. So it kind of ruins my experience of the mixtapes. Is there any way to tag certain songs/playlists as "non-preferred" music influences for auto-generated playlists? Parents must have the same issue with their kids using their account. Do I need to get to get two separate accounts? I have premium today.

Hello @gabrielleodh

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

I'd recommend turning on Private Session every time you listen to your sleep and study music. That way it won't influence your music recommendations, i.g. your different Mix playlists.

For more details on that, make sure to take a look at this support article

There are also some ideas that you might be interested in. Feel free to add your +VOTES there, if that's something you would like to see in the Spotify app.

I hope you'll find this helpful!
